The 2017 IIFA came to an end last night and with that, it was curtains down on the annual international celebration of the Indian Film industry. It was a mixed bag this time for IIFA Awards night. Though it wasn’t as star studded as it should be, yet again Salman Khan saved the day for the organizers. We let you the top five moments at IIFA that happened last night.

Top 5 IIFA 2017 Moments

1) Salman Khan’s Katrina Fixation

There is no doubt that Salman Khan was the biggest crowd puller at the IIFA’s this year. Hence the top slot is to be a Salman Khan moment. Khan no doubt had a power packed performance but it was that moment when he looked at Katrina from the stage that sealed the deal for us.

2) Judwaa VS Judwaa 2

As if Salman Khan wasn’t enough for the grand finale act, he got Varun Dhawan as well on the stage but only to perform on Bhai’s famous Judwaa song. The two killed it as they matched steps on Tan Tana Tan.

3) Varun Dhawan’s ode to Dad David Dhawan

That Varun Dhawan is an ace dancer is a known fact but last evenings IIFA performance by Dhawan was all the more special as he dedicated it to his dad David Dhawan. Varun selected songs from Papa Dhawan’s films which were mostly Govinda’s songs. Varun not only aced every step of Govinda but also worked his expressions very well.

4) Alia Bhatt grooves with her Badrinath

Alia Bhatt was the first to perform on the IIFA stage. The actor belted out one act after the other but the highlight was when she got down of the stage and caught hold of Varun Dhawan only to dance on Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya.

5) Katrina The Time Traveller

Though this didn’t happen in New York we still think it was worth a mention. After the telecast of yesterday’s IIFA Awards, the show editor has to get the Best Editing award. Whoever edited the show forgot that it was Katrina Kaif who was giving away an award to Shahid Kapoor and inserted shots of Kaif sitting with Shahid in the front row. Now that’s an IIFA blunder we aren’t forgetting for years.
