This 2009 starrer turned the tables for Salman Khan. Before Wanted, Salman’s luck at the box office was running dry but after the release of this action thriller, the Salman tide has taken over & how! The film was a superhit and went on to earn Rs. 61 Crores
If Wanted started the Salman tide, Dabangg gave birth to Salmanisms. The actor in his Chulbul Pandey avatar won a million hearts and the film was declared an all time hit with Rs.141 Crores as their total earnings.
When it looked like the Salman mania was taking over every Eid, Ek Tha Tiger proved just that double fold. The film earned Rs. 199 Crores at the box office and except for the poster, it was definitely no looking back for Salman.
The film was a sequel to Dabangg and hence the hype around it made sure that the film is a hit. Chulbul Pandey made sure that his antics spoke more than the story and hence went on to earn Rs. 154 Crores at the box office.
Kick was the first time when Salman kind of experimented with grey shades in his character. This was Salman’s first film to cross 200 crores. The total earning of the film till date has been Rs. 233 Crores.
The first poster of the film literally stated that PREM IS BACK! The film brought Sooraj Barjatiya and Salman back together after Hum Sath Sath Hain. Though the film didn’t create the same buzz as his previous films but it did earn a whopping Rs. 213 Crores.
