Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are set to relive their magical screen presence together – just like they did way back in the 70’s & 80’s with their hits – Amar Akbar Anthony, Coolie, Naseeb among others.

The actors will reunite to play the roles of a 102-year father and 75-year old son in a movie. They play father and son in a unique satirical swipe at the generation gap called 102 Not Out.

Rishi Kapoor Amitabh ReuniteThe film is to be directed by Umesh Shukla who last directed Big B’s son Abhishek and Rishi Kapoor in All Is Well. Like Shukla’s two feature films so far, OMG Oh My God and All Is Well – 102 Not Out is also based on a hit Gujarati play entitled 102 Not Out. The play was written and directed by Somya Joshi who will also script the film for Umesh Shukla.

Rishi Kapoor’s tweet says it all about the stalwarts coming together:

102 Not Out is the story of 102-year old Dattaraya Vakharia who at his age continues to spin aspirations and dreams, while his son the 75-year old Babu is cautious and cynical.
